The Improvement of Semiconductor Systems
Quasi-conductor are the detached class of matters. At first that unique class was discovered in the 1890's but more completely it started to be researched only after the First World War in Europe and in Soviet Union. Russian scientists carried out a lot of researches. The results showed that semiconductors can assist to accelerate the fluctuations and maintain them. But such devices as igbt modules that are used today were invented considerably later. Only in the beginning of the 50's with the appearing of transistors in 1949 the broad usage of crystal detectors began. The intensive studying of the features of semiconductors was started at the same time.
Many physicists perform a great deal of experiments simply to gain more knowledge about such feature of semiconductors as stimulated radiation. The first laser system was developed with utilizing of semiconductors. The first variant was based on p - n barriers, the latest ones - on heterojunction.
